I brought a light with me to shoot these newborn photos of Candy's little one. But I didn't like it. So I brought everything a little closer to the window, and used the soft light coming in. It fit so much better.... so sweet, and soft and new. :)
Randi, Are we on for Oct. 11? I emailed but didn't follow up . . . Congrats on the giant tree! I kind of lost your photo blog for a while after the name change and really enjoyed catching up today. You are fabulous. Have you shot at the Japanese garden at Manito? I was thinking that might be pretty for us in October, if we're on. If not, maybe I'll wait until spring since it will be getting too cold. Also - I just got a new calling to be the stake temple landscaping committee rep. I think I'll get to help with a bit of design as well as upkeep and etc. I was wondering if you had any suggestions as a photographer about backdrops. It seems that the landscaping is very low around the temple, and that might make it difficult to get nice shots. Have you photographed there at all? - VW
